In Australia, we the 7Pin DIN style plug, also known as 7Pin Large Round or “Trailer Plug” has typically only one wiring option, which is different to the international standard:

• AS 2513:
  • provides for reverse on Pin 2 (Blue)
  • joins marker lights, clearance lamps and number plate light and onto one conductor (Brown, Pin 7)
  • one spare conductor on Pin 5 (Black)

Unfortunately, you cannot tell how a truck is wired simply by the shape of the plug. You should ask your vehicle manufacturer what wiring diagram your plug or socket is wired to.
